Okay everyone, put your "pretend you give a crap" hats on!

SO cool to hear that Bob Mould is back making rock music again with a new album and team (including members of Fugazi- yowza!). New album on Anti coming next year and he's even touring in a twosome band he conjured up called "Blowoff." Look, let's just reconvene Sugar for the 15th anniversary and let Dean see you live so I can keep checking off boxes of band favorites I've never caught live, okay? (Pitchfork clued me in on teh Mould news.)

Two great tastes as Mike Patton provides the chocolate voice for the peanut butter remake of one of my favorite all-time videogames, Bionic Commando (.com). I really loved that game, and I mean the NES version, not the IMHO lesser arcade version (how often does someone say that phrase?).

And I really like Phantom Hourglass for the DS, but I have a feeling that a full week off from it for my research will mean I won't snap back into it. We'll see.
